As in previous year's the Stencil Festival is making a special effort to support new and emerging artists. The festival is celebrating street art and as such aims to offer opportunities to young and emerging artists in the field to exhibit works, meet and network with established artists from around Australia and overseas. This year's exhibition program will present an Emerging Artist Award for the best work by an emerging artist in the Stencil Festival Group Show. Group Show Artists are as follows for 2008:
An independent jury will judge accepted submissions on the merit of idea, execution, technique and appraoch. Prizes to be won.
